EXCEPTIONAL ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING IAP's constantly updated capabilities give us a commanding advantage even when compared to bigger-sized shops. Our new FANPRO Selection Software simplifies standard fan and blower orders, and is available to representatives and customers. For specialty applications, our talented engineering and manufacturing teams work in unison to handle the speeds, pressures and exotic metals that other companies won't touch. We've done tip speeds up to 38,000 FPM (432 MPH), configured housings for extremely high heat environments (2,200o F), exceeded NASA's test requirements, and established stringent vibration tolerances (0.05 inches per second of velocity) for clean room applications. IAP has also become the country's leading expert on fuel cell fans, among some of our many accomplishments. We talk to customers to fully understand their applications, and use our vast experience and practiced sense of speeds and temperatures to double-check for specification accuracy. The engineers may also run a Finite Element Analysis to show a fan's stresses and how the fan will hold together under loading. |
